ZenFocus tablet with expandable RAM

ZenFocus, an asset and service management company, has forayed into tablet market with a new 7 inch tablet called myZenTAB 708B. The entry level tablet comes with a 7 inch capacitive, 5 point touch screen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution.
This tablet is based on Boxchip A13 chipset and supported by Mali-400 graphics processor unit. It comes loaded with 512 MB DDR3 RAM and also has external memory expansion support for additional 3 GB RAM, Android OS 4.03 and has Flash 11.1.
ZenFocus launches a new tablet
MyZenTAB 708B has a front camera of 0.3 megapixel camera and an external support of USB mouse and keyboard. It also supports 3G dongle for 3G network access. It has built in WiFi (b/g/n) support. The tablet also has internal storage of 4 GB.
ZenFocus launches a new tablet
The MyZenTAB 708B is currently available for Rs 5,999 from Snapdeal.com and Carrefour Cash and Carry stores in India. The same promotion is also being made available through distributors and dealers all over India.
Though the company claims that the tablet is meant for business as well as for commoners, the tablet apart from the expandable RAM doesn't seem to have anything special for even the price being asked for as you get several such tablets from the likes of Micromax and Karbonn. Also, we do not know about the build quality of the tablet and if the company has done something better with that, then only does it make any sense.

Aakash 2's commercial version available for pre-booking

Canadian company, Datawind has formally announced a new version of its much hyped Aakash tablet. Named Aakash 2, the tablet was unveiled by Pranab Mukherjee, President of India. Designed and manufactured by Datawind, the Aakash 2 tablet comes with a 7-inch display and houses a 1 GHz mobile processor.
Datawind has not officially announced the price of the tablet yet but few reports have said that the tablet will be available to students for a subsidiesed price of Rs 1,130. However, Datawind in its official press release said that the tablet is commercially available in the market as UbiSlate 7Ci for a price of Rs 4,499. The company also told The Mobile Indian that they will provide the tablet to the Human Resource Ministry for distribution among students for Rs 2,263.
"The price is Rs 2,263 at which the government purchases the device from us. The government subsidises it by 50 per cent and it will be distributed to students at Rs 1,130," Datawind chief executive officer Suneet Tuli was quoted as saying.
Aakash 2's commercial version available
Datawind promises to supply 100,000 units to the Institute of Information and Technology - Bombay which will further distribute those tablets to Engineer Universities.
The Aakash 2 tablet arrives with 7-inch touchscreen display that supports 480x800 pixel resolution natively. This screen is capable of supporting 4-point multi-touch. Datawind has used a 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 mobile processor and 512 MB RAM to power the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system of the tablet. There is a front facing VGA camera to click images or initiate video chat. There is a 3.5 mm audio port to enjoy music on the same. On normal battery, the tablet offers about three hours of run time.
The teaching faculties of the IIT Bombay have also claimed to build some applications for the Engineering Students on the Aakash 2 tablet.
The first version of the tablet, Aakash was the dream of many and eventually turned into a nightmare. Delays in the availability, disappointing device quality and several issues plagued the first generation Aakash Tablet. In fact, we still get inquiries about where to purchase or order Aakash Tablet from. Many who have already ordered the tablet are yet to hear from the company.
Though the subsidized Aakash 2 tablet's availability is not known yet, you can pre-book the UbiSlate 7Ci tablet from DataWind by following this link.

Sony Tablet S review

It has taken two years for Sony to enter the tablet market, and in that time every manufacturer and their budget Taiwanese spin-off have colluded to fill the tablet market with dross.
This presents both and opportunity and a threat to Sony, and while there are many sub-standard tablets on the market, some great work has been done by a few companies, and there's now a handful of successful, great value Android tablets to choose from.
You can check out our Android Tablet round-up to see how this slate measures up against three of its rivals below:
Aside from the obvious iPad 2, which is the gold standard of design and usability, Samsung has unleashed a flurry of tablets, from the excellent Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, to the imminent Galaxy Tab 7.7 which boasts a vibrant AMOLED display.
Other notable competitors also include the Motorola Xoom, which is now aggressively priced at £349, and the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, and soon-to-be-released Eee Pad Slider, which both boast full, physical QWERTY keyboards.
To launch into this crowded marketplace, Sony had to release something different, and with the Sony Tablet S and the forthcoming Tablet P, that's exactly what its done.
The Sony Tablet S is a curvaceous, wedge-shaped tablet, which looks as if it has been folded out of a single piece of textured black plastic. It's thicker at one side, with a rounded edge, as if you'd taken a thin paper back, and folded the cover back on itself to really get stuck into the story.
Aside from making it look different to every other tablet on the market, the Sony Tablet S's unique appearance isn't purely aesthetic. The design means that typing is comfortable when laid flat on a table or desk, which is a flaw in most flat tablets.
sony tablet s
The book-like design makes it easy to grip with one hand, making it perfect for browsing the web or reading ebooks.
The Tablet S weighs just 600g, which makes it identical in weight to the iPad 2. There's a plastic finish, which doesn't feel cheap, and it has a textured back which offers grip for your hand.
While Sony has done well to make the form stand out from its peers, the specs are a standard affair emulating their rivals closely. There's a dual-core Tegra 2 processor clocked at 1GHz, 1GB of memory, capacitive touchscreen, and an SD expansion slot.
sony tablet s
The Sony Tablet S also comes with a range of other features, which make it really stand out from the crowd. There are front and rear cameras, 1080p video capture and playback, PlayStation certification, which enables users to access a range of exclusive titles, and a host of Sony created apps, including a universal remote for controlling other Sony products.
The tablet comes in two iterations, with 16GB and 32GB options available, and it has set pricing at £399 for the 16GB version. This in itself is an admission by Sony to the ferocity and difficulty of the tablet market.
Sony tends to market itself as a premium manufacturer, and set its pricing accordingly, but at £399, it has decided to compete directly with companies it would look down upon in other markets.

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 review-window 8 tablet

With a scheduled release date of Oct. 26, TechRadar was pleased to get some hands-on time with the device at a recent Intel Windows 8 event where the Silicon Valley company also showed off the processor behind many Windows 8 tablets: the Intel Atom Clover Trail.
Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2
With an expected retail price of around $799 (£500) the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2, while it costs as much as a high-end ultrabook, is one of the more solidly built Windows 8 tablets we've spent some time with.
Lenovo users will welcome the inclusion of the keyboard which harkens back to Lenovo products of yore. Replete with a bright-red pointing stick, which has been a hallmark of the brand for years. Road warriors who currently use Lenovo products will definitely feel at home.
While $799 (£500) may seem like a lot to spend on a tablet it's rumored that users will also be able to buy one without the keyboard for anywhere from $100 to $200 less (£60 to £120).
As a mobile device the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 feels great to use. That said, the way the device connects to the keyboard is less appealing than with other units. For instance, we prefer the HP Envy X2 solution where the tablet actually connects to the keyboard as opposed to merely sitting in the keyboard dock.
Compared to the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2, the HP Envy X2 actually feels more like a ultrabook and less like a tablet with an optional keyboard.
Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2
Sporting a 10.1-inch IPS display with a full resolution of 1,366x768, the tablet is powered by an Intel Clover Trail processor. The unit we saw was operating at 1.8GHz and was able to run several apps simultaneously without a hiccup.
In addition, the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 ships with a full version of Office 2013. For road warriors this is an absolute boon.
The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 will also benefit from an optional dock that sports an Ethernet port, three USB ports and an HDMI out.

Asus Eee Pad Slider review-A slide-out keyboard on an Android tablet

The Asus Eee Pad Slider has arrived, and manages to stand out in much the same way.
The specs are fairly typical for tablets these days. The Eee Pad Slider features a 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 system-on-a-chip, offering dual-core power and good graphics performance, which powers Android 3.1 out of the box (though you can upgrade to 3.2 as soon as you get it connected to the internet, and an Android 4.0 update is on its way).
There's 1GB of RAM to keep multitasking smooth, along with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, though a microSD card slot means you can boost this. Wi-Fi is present up to 802.11n, as is Bluetooth. The screen is a generous 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 IPS affair, so there's plenty of space for Android 3.2 to show us what it's got.
The build quality of the two halves of the Eee Pad Slider is excellent, feeling totally solid and without any noticeable give. Our only (admittedly very mild) concerns are with the joins between the two.
We don't expect the hinge to break on anyone for no good reason, but the way the screen just sits loose and wobbly when in the upright position is odd compared how solid the rest of the device is.
There's also a ribbon connecting the screen to the keyboard. While we've no doubt that this offers a huge power consumption advantage over using Bluetooth to connect the two, it's an obvious weak point if your Slider should take an unexpected trip to the ground.

Around the sides, you've not only got your microSD card slot, but also the Lock key, a volume rocker, a reset button that's far too easy to press, a mini-HDMI port for video output, Asus's proprietary connection for USB connectivity and charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a full-size USB port.
Having two separate sliding halves in this tablet inevitably means it's a lot thicker than the competition. At 273 x 180.3 x 17.3mm, it's around twice as thick as an iPad 2, and at 960g it's around 50 percent heavier.
The weight difference really does tip it from being comfortable to hold to being just too heavy to keep in one hand for long. Between this and the slide-out function, which puts the screen at a great angle for both desk and lap use, it becomes clear that the Eee Pad Slider is less of a competitor for tablets like the iPad, and is more targeting replacing netbooks and smaller laptops.
The Eee Pad Slider looks set to be available for around £450 in its 32GB version, which isn't as cheap as the keyboardless half of the Eee Pad Transformer, but is good value compared to most other Android tablets

Micromax Funbook P300 vs. Zen UltraTab A100

Android tablets have started gaining a lot of popularity in India, where price is a decisive factor. Google had announced the Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) OS in October last year. The ever-growing tablet market has seen batches of ultra-affordable ICS tablets since. We reviewed two such tablets recently -- the Micromax Funbook and the Zen Ultrabook A100. We have pitted them against each other in our grudge match. Let’s see which one comes out on top.

Micromax Funbook P300
The Funbook sparked quite a bit of interest when it was launched, as it is currently one of the cheapest Android v4.0-based tablets in the market. Micromax calls the Funbook an edutainment device, targeting it at students and those preparing for professional exams. This sleek and good-looking tablet has a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor at its core while running on the Android v4.0.3 (ICS).
As for its build, we really loved its incredibly light feel. It’s quite slim as well, making it a very good eBook reader. It is one of the better-built Android tablets you’ll find in the sub-10K price range.

Zen Ultratab A100
Not to be left behind in the budget tablet segment, Zen Mobiles recently announced their Ultratab A100. This tablet has a 7-inch screen. Zen’s Ultratab A100 user experience is designed with a Live Panel menu, which users can customise to display a variety of content on the homescreen.

At a thickness of 10.5mm and a weight of merely 295 grams, the UltraTab A100 is very lightweight compared with other tablets in its category. It is powered by a 1.2GHz processor, complemented by a Mali 400 graphics processor (GPU) and the operating system is Android v4.0 (ICS). It features 512MB of DDR3 RAM, and an internal storage capacity of 4GB, expandable to 32GB via the microSD card slot. The UltraTab has a built-in 2800mAh battery that can not be replaced by the user.

We have listed out a comparison of various specifications and features of the two devices below. Click the image to view which one comes out as the winner.

Bottom line
In our real-world tests, the Micromax Funbook had a much better battery life of seven hours as compared to the A100, which managed a meagre 3 hours and 47 minutes. The only reason the Ultratab gets more points is that it is slightly cheaper, has a front camera of a higher resolution, and is a wee bit lighter than the Funbook. Though the two devices appear almost neck and neck, the Funbook edges out the A100 with an HDMI out port and an overall better battery life.

India's Unlimited Internet plan-It’s a scam and such a shame.

We’re nearing the end of 2012 and we’re hearing more and more about Google’s Fiber Internet connections being made available to customers in two American cities. Meanwhile, here in India, we’ve become complacent and have accepted that 1 and 2Mbps is fast enough to be called broadband. Sure, things are better than they were a few years ago when 256kbps and 512kbps speeds were advertised as broadband. But how is it that an IT superpower, as the world knows us, hasn’t developed on the infrastructure front? Most other developing countries offer better speeds at lower rates than us.

Google’s newly launched Fiber Internet connections boast of speeds of 1Gbps—roughly 500 times faster than a typical 2Mbps connection here in India. But that doesn't make the 1Gbps connection 500 times more expensive than the 2Mbps one; you can get it for roughly $70 (that’s a little less than Rs. 4,000). For a little more, you even get a TV connection and a bunch of other services over the same fiber connection.

Now, you’d argue that we too have broadband. MTNL recently started offering fiber connections in Mumbai and Delhi. The highlight of the service is, of course, 10 and 20Mbps connections. They aren’t anywhere close to the Google Fiber speeds but still, it’s a healthy improvement over the rubbish we’ve been used to. The usual download limit nonsense is still present though. On the more affordable side, at Rs. 990, MTNL gives you a 10Mbps ‘Unlimited’ connection that works this fast only till you reach 15GB. After that, you’re slowed down to 512kbps; that’s 5 percent of the original promised speed.

And if you thought 15GB is a lot of bandwidth, you should also know that 15GB at 10Mbps takes less than three hours to exhaust. A 1,000 bucks for a three-hour, 10Mbps connection doesn’t sound too great now, does it? If you bought two or three games on Steam and wanted to download them, for example, you’d have already exhausted the allotted download limit.

You’d think, like almost every other ISP in the country, MTNL too has a distorted idea of what unlimited Internet connectivity is. But then, you’re wrong, because MTNL has a separate plan for those who want true unlimited Internet access called ‘Fibre Truly Unlimited Plan’. There’s a 1Mbps plan that costs a little more than Rs. 1,000, which is comparable to the traditional ADSL non-fiber connections. Choose a 2Mbps unlimited account and you have to shell out Rs. 4,999 for it. That’s right, five times more for twice the speed. That’s how we’re being treated as customers these days—being offered peanuts at the price of exotic metals. Broadband prices are cleverly disguised too, as ‘Up to 2Mbps’, so you can expect a maximum speed of 2Mbps but can’t complain if you get anything lower.

It’s not just MTNL, it’s the same scenario with most other ISPs. Internet penetration still isn’t anywhere near what it should be. There are many in Delhi who don’t have more than 1-2 ISPs to choose from where they live. Try to imagine the rural areas where there’s only one ISP. It’s not like mobile Internet providers are offering cheaper schemes either. Even mobile users have tight download limits to work with, while constantly worrying of inflated bills if you cross the allocated bandwidth.

If you limit Internet access, you’re not going to get users to explore the Internet the way it’s meant to be. There’s something there for everyone. You’ll never encourage them to go out and buy a tablet or a new PC and try out all the things there are to learn on the Internet.
ISPs might not realise it, but the Internet is more than just a quick, easy way to make money. It’s a big thing especially for a rapidly developing country like ours. There’s an abundance of knowledge on it and that’s what hungry minds should be let free to exploit. It lets communities catch up on what’s happening around the world. It lets people pursue their dreams and it brings communities separated by distances together. It’s one of the greatest things to ever happen to mankind. All this information is present in one place, at your fingertips and it shouldn’t cost an arm and a foot. But here they are in 2012, looting customers of this right, asking for a ton of money and offering peanuts in exchange. It’s a scam and such a shame.

Google lauches Nexus 7 for $250

The good: The Nexus 7's quad-core Tegra 3 processor delivers fast performance and a beautiful and responsive screen. Also, it's comfortable to hold and Android 4.1 brings a surplus of welcome additions. At only $200, the Nexus 7 is a steal.
The bad: The lack of built-in expandable storage and omission of HDMI are disappointing, and the design follows the plain, black tablet mold. The top and bottom bezels are a bit too thick.
The bottom line: With a beautiful screen, fast performance, a comfortable design, and overall great media options, the Nexus 7 is easily the best 7-inch tablet available and one of the top tablets on the market.

The Nexus 7 tablet embodies the moment when tablet buyers no longer have to compromise performance for price. No other 7-inch, $200 to $250 tablet combines this level of performance, with Android 4.1's features, in such a comfortable design.
What buyers lose with the lack of built-in expandable storage options and the omission of a back camera, they’ll gain in complete OS flexibility in a powerful and cheap tablet

Comparision of Nexus 7,Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0,Amazon Kindle Fire

Nexus 7 Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Amazon Kindle Fire
Weight in pounds 0.74 0.74 0.9
Width in inches (landscape) 7.8 7.6 7.4
Height in inches 4.72 4.8 4.75
Depth in inches 0.4 0.3 0.4
Side bezel width in inches (landscape) 0.8 0.76 0.78 (power button side), 0.6 opposite side

The Nexus 7 will be the first device to ship with the latest incarnation of the Android OS, version 4.1, also known as Jelly Bean. Though Android 4.1 on the Nexus 7 is just as customizable as previous incarnations of the OS, the way it's presented here feels much more controlled and focused, and while a bit less intimidating to the uninitiated, it also feels a bit constraining.

Part of the reason is the way the home screen now works. Well, it works the same as it does on every other Android tablet, allowing you vast customization options, but now if you turn the tablet to landscape mode the screen won't rotate. It rotates fine in apps, but as soon as you tap that home button, you're back in portrait mode.
The dock on the bottom of the home screen is filled mostly with Google services apps like Play, Music, Books, and Magazines. There's also a folder housing Chrome -- the default browser -- as well as Google Maps, Google Plus, Gmail, and other services. Directly in the middle of the tray is the apps button. Swiping up from the home button and across the apps button takes you to Google Now, Google's new predictive personalized helper.
In keeping with the "Google's gunning for the Kindle Fire" theme, Google Play has been updated to include TV shows, purchasable movies, and magazines, finally bringing the store into modern times. After browsing through a few HD and standard-definition TV shows, it appears that Google's prices for complete seasons match the prices for the same shows on iTunes. However, on the Kindle Fire, prices were routinely much cheaper compared even with the SD versions on Google Play -- though those lower prices are offset by the cost of an Amazon Prime membership.

So we rate this tablet more than average rating.

FINAL FANTASY III apk & sd data

First released in 1990, Final Fantasy III was the first title in the Final Fantasy series to become a million-seller, establishing once and for all that Square Enix's classic RPG saga was here to stay. The full 3D remake released in 2006 duplicated the original's success, selling over a million copies worldwide. Final Fantasy III was a hallmark of innovation for the entire series, from the job system that lets characters change classes at any time to the ability to summon powerful creatures such as Shiva and Bahamut. When darkness falls and the land is robbed of light, four youths are chosen by the crystals to set forth on a journey to save the world.

“The world has collapsed.
In 2012 modern civilisation is coming to an end. Global economics have been disrupted, money has lost its value. People have risen against the ignorant politicians who were just lining their pockets – and they didn't spare any of them.
However, those who really ruled the world were prepared - and escaped. Suddenly billions of people died from a strange virus, while others turned into butcherly beasts with just one thought:
TO KILL!
Only a few people on the planet have survived, at least until they run out of ammo... or learn how to stop them...”

Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies apk & sd data

The Call of Duty: Zombies phenomenon has risen back to life. Adapted from the best-selling console hit and built specifically for tablets and smartphones, Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies delivers fan-favorite, heart-pounding maps: Kino Der Toten, Ascension, and Call of the Dead: Director’s Cut, as well as “Dead-Ops Arcade,” a 50-level zombie gauntlet that provides the ultimate undead challenge for fans of Call of Duty’s signature zombie warfare.
Play solo or join a team of up to 4 players via Wi-Fi as you mow down hordes of zombies using a variety of weapons and perks only available in the Call of Duty zombie experience.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is available exclusively for 30 days on Sony’s Xperia smart phones as well as Sony’s Xperia Play Optimized devices including the Xperia Play, with its dedicated gaming keypad, and the critically acclaimed Xperia S and Xperia Ion.
And don’t just take our word for it; here is what critics think of the game:
• “Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is a must-have for any Call of Duty fan and for everyday gamers alike.” – Mashable.com
• "As far as the whole package is concerned, I adore the Dead Ops Arcade mode and feel it adds significant value to the $6.99 price tag" – Destructoid
• “Dead Ops…a perfect fit for the mobile platform.” – G4 TV online
Players can also opt to enhance their experience and get out of a jam with the in-game CoD Point System. With six tiers of in-app purchasing options to choose from, Zombies fans will be able to take their experience to a whole new level by unlocking additional areas and securing better weapons in much less time. Please note that CoD points are only applicable in single player.
• Buy CoD points in the Main Menu to use when you run out of earned points in-game.
• CoD points can be spent on anything in the game such as reviving, opening doors, weapons, perks, and the mystery box but are only used when you do not have enough earned points.
• Revives can also be bought with CoD points if you die without the revive perk, although the three revive limit still applies.
• Note: Your CoD points will be lost if the app is uninstalled from your device.
Sure, earning Achievements and Point-Multipliers is nice, but to survive these Co-Op Maps, you’ll need friends as much as you’ll need firepower. Lucky for you, not only will the weapons and perks you love from Call of Duty lie at your fingertips, you can join with up to 4 players via Wi-Fi to play mulitiplayer.
